Joan M. Hartmann, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2017 with her family by her side. Born in Trenton she was raised in Hamilton Square and resided in Yardville prior to moving to Bordentown. She worked as an administrative assistant with the State of New Jersey; Department of Transportation and was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church of Hamilton. She loved to dance, enjoyed arts and crafts and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Predeceased by her parents, Jasper and Ella Lucas, her brother William Lucas and her son, William Hartmann, she is survived by her beloved daughters: Diane Heiss and Christopher Odasz of North Hanover and Brenda Hartmann and Tom Prokop of Fieldsboro, her granddaughter: Kimberly Raymond and her husband John of Burlington Township, her great granddaughter, Aubrey Raymond, a dear friend, Fran Boss of Mercerville and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Wednesday, July 19 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton Township. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm and again on Wednesday morning from 9:30 until time of service at the funeral home.
