Heaven gained another angel on March 9, 2016 when Joan (Knowles) Campbell, daughter of the late Margaret and Robert Pyne, passed away. Joan is survived by her loving husband, John Campbell; two daughters, Colleen Suozzo and her husband Joseph, and Lisa Musser and her husband Scott; and brothers Patrick Pyne and his wife Connie, and Robert Pyne and his wife Nancy. Joan was affectionately known as "Mom-Mom" to three grandchildren; Melissa Phillips and her husband Shawn, Jason Sikorski and his wife Allison, and Scott Musser, Jr; and three great-grandchildren, Chase Patrick, Logan Joseph, and Sophia Jean.
Joan was born on March 18, 1935 in Camden, NJ. She graduated from Allentown High School, and remained in Allentown while raising her family. Joan entered the field of banking prior to her tenure at Firmenich, from where she retired over ten years ago. She lived in Hamilton for 40 years, prior to recently relocating to Bordentown. Joan is known for her meticulous decorating, witty sense of humor, sharp fashion, and delectable baking talents.
A service will be held on Friday, March 11 at 11 am at Christ Church, 130 Prince Street, Bordentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Diabetes Association may be made in her memory (www.diabetes.org).
