Jerome J. Weaver, 79, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. Born and raised in Fieldsboro, he had lived in the Bordentown area most of his life. He was a graduate of William McFarland High School Class of 1951, where he participated in three sports and was named All County Fullback of Burlington County.

Jerome was a Navy Veteran during the Korean War and retired from Goodall Rubber of Trenton. He was a life member of the Bordentown Elks #2085 and the Fieldsboro American Legion Post # 349.

Son of the late Walter E. Weaver and Irene Gaskill, he is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Phyllis A Weaver (nee Horner), his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Luis Chaparro of Trenton, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Edward Weaver and Bryce and Frances Weaver of Fieldsboro, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Audrey and Tibaldo  Yanes and Jacqueline Weaver of Bordentown, two uncles, Donald Weaver and his wife Rita and Clinton Weaver of Fieldsboro and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be 11am, Monday, March 18 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday 4 to 6 pm and again Monday10 am until time of service, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jerome's name to Compassionate Care Hospice, 600 Highland Drive, Westampton, NJ 08060 or to the Bordentown Elks, 11 Amboy Road, Bordentown, NJ 08505.
