Jean F. Powers, 81, of Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Orange, NJ, she moved to Groveville, NJ where she and her husband, Dick, raised their 5 children and joined the St. Vincent de Paul Church in Yardville, NJ.

Jean focus was always her faith, family and friends. She was a 'domestic goddess' and involved in many of her children's activities including the Hamilton Township Recreational Girls Soccer Association as a coach and sponsor. Jean was a mother figure to many over the years and there was always room for one more at the dinner table. As her children grew, she entered the workforce and spent time with the Department of Health and Department of Labor prior to retiring from the State of NJ in 2009. Jean loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas with beloved Dickie and best friends, Ferle and Rob. In recent years she enjoyed going to church, dining out, shopping, trips to the Parx casino, and playing cards with the girls. She also loved to volunteer and spend time with her other "kids" at Visitation Home in Yardville.

Predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Richard Powers and her sister, Mary Cleary; Jean is survived by her five children, Jeanne Arington and her husband Dave, Lynn Ockers, Susanne Harbaugh and her husband Ben, Richard Powers and his wife Susanne, and Kelly Powers; her grandchildren, Brandy, Kelly, Benjamin, Jennifer, Jill, Brian, Ryan and Eric; and great grandchildren, Sophia, Tucker, Rachel, Dominic, Daisy, Pearl, and Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid limitations, a Mass of Christian Burial will be private under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
