Jean L. Potts, 83, of Bordentown City passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 3 ^rd at The Pavilions at Forrestal in Princeton. Born in Bordentown, she resided there all of her life. Jean retired from the Johnstone Training and Research Center and the New Lisbon Developmental Center where she served as a cottage aide.  She also was involved in the operation of the Potts Oil Company of Bordentown and was a longtime member of the Shadyrest Bible Church.

Wife of the late Edward Potts, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Tom Spence of Browns Mills; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Joan Exner of Bordentown; a sister, Betty Foster of Princeton Twp; a grandchild, Kimberly Burke; great-grandchildren, Quincy,  Joelly and Owen and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown.  Friends may call from 10:00 a,m until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery.
