Obituary

Jean M. Muschal, 81, of Hamilton Square, passed away Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.  Born in Stratford, NJ, she was a longtime Hamilton area resident.  Affectionately known as ""Mean Jean"", she owned and operated Jean's Ceramic Studio in Hamilton.  A loving mother who was very active in her children's and grandchildren's lives as well as a longtime member of St. Gregory the Great Church; she was a former member of the Altar Rosary Society, and a Cub Scout Den Mother.

Daughter of the late Charles and Delma O'Brien, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Donald M. Muschal and her granddaughter Sara Weakly. She is survived by two sons and a daughter, Roger Weakly and Jeannie Wooten, Ralph Weakly, all of Hamilton; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and John Kern of Morristown, VT;  three grandchildren, Samantha Weakly and Madeleine and Jack Kern; a great granddaughter, Delilah; a brother John O'Brien of Laurel Springs; two sisters, Ethel Myles of Hamilton and Betty O'Brien of Laurel Springs; a niece and nephew with whom she lived, Michelle and Vincent Moreno as well as several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and close friends.

Funeral Services will be held 11 am Friday, December 21 st at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main St. Allentown, N.J.  Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Allentown.  Friends may call Thursday from1 to 4 pm and again from 6 to 9 pm at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Specialty Center, Medical Center Campus, East Pavilion, Level 4, 111 Colchester Ave., Burlington, VT 05401.
