Janice (Jemison) Sadlon 73, of Columbus, NJ formerly of Allentown, NJ passed away on Friday December 2, 2022 at Penn Medicine of Princeton with her loving family nearby.
Janice was a very devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. Janice worked at Allentown High School for 25 years before she retired in 2014. She always lived life to the fullest with her husband Ken. They enjoyed camping in their trailer, staying at their mountain house, visiting the beach, and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. Janice was very supportive and proud of all seven of her grandchildren. She never missed any of their events and visited each one of them on their birthdays. She always made them feel special.
Janice had many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed country line dancing and having breakfast with her friends. She loved taking care of her home and planting beautiful flowers. You could always find her on a warm summer day on her lawn tractor mowing her grass. She also enjoyed ceramics, sewing and cooking. Janice took great pride in all her work and never missed a detail.
Janice is preceded by her father Wilbur H Jemison (Hightstown) and her in-laws John and Mary Sadlon (Hightstown). She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 52 years Kenneth John Sadlon (Columbus NJ), her mother Helen Henzler Jemison (Monroe, NJ), her daughter and son-in-law Jodi Ann (Sadlon) Fine and Robert J. Fine Jr. (New Egypt, NJ) and their four children: Robert J. Fine lll, Rebecca Mae Fine, Bradley Kenneth Fine, and Elizabeth Mary-Ann Fine (New Egypt, NJ), her son and daughter-in-law James Kenneth Sadlon and Kristen (Oros) Sadlon (Mansfield, NJ) and their three children: Michael James Sadlon, Emily Marie Sadlon, and Adam Patrick Sadlon (Mansfield, NJ). She also leaves behind her two aunts Irene Archer and Janet McKnight.
Janice will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, December 7 th from 6-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Funeral Service will be 11am on Thursday December 8 th at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery.
