Jane Gentner, 92 of Lakewood, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Philadelphia, she lived in Cream Ridge and New Egypt for many years before moving to Lakewood. Jane was a member of the Church of the Assumption in New Egypt and was very active in her community at Leisure Park where she enjoyed taking bus trips to Atlantic City and playing Bingo. Above all, Jane was devoted to her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Predeceased by her husband, Harry W. Gentner, she is survived by her daughters, Barbara Stiles and her husband Leonard of Lakewood and Patricia J. Roth of Bordentown; her grandchildren, Gregory Tornquist, his wife Jeanne and their children, Taylor and Brandon of Allentown, Gary Tornquist and his daughter, Jessica of Highlands and Christopher Roth and his son, Owen of New Egypt.

Funeral Service will be held 11am on Tuesday, May 10th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in the Church of the Assumption Cemetery, New Egypt. Friends may call Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
