Jane Elizabeth Baldachino (nee Sipos), passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011, after a courageous fight against cancer.  Jane resided in Allentown and Barnegat Light and formally resided in Dumont, NJ.  Jane was the beloved wife of Frank Baldachino for 53 years and the devoted mother of Deborah Harkness (Dean) of Beach Haven, Frank Baldachino (Gina) of Clarksburg, Wayne Baldachino of Monmouth Beach, Laura Baldachino of Allentown and Lisa Rudman (Jonathan) of Medford Lakes; she was the dearest grandmother of 8 grandchildren, Jane, Jennifer, and Jessica Harkness, Lexi and Joseph Baldachino and James, Grace, and Andrew Rudman.

Born on March 4, 1937 in Bronx, NY, Jane was educated at Dumont High School and a graduate of the Catherine Gibbs School in NYC.  She was known for her engaging personality, beautiful smile and gracious manner. Jane was a fun-loving person who thoroughly enjoyed her family and grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am, Thursday July 28 ^th at St. John's Church 1282 Yardville Rd., Allentown.  Friends and family are invited to her viewing on Wednesday from 2-4pm and again 7-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home 114 So. Main St Allentown.  Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Visiting Nursing Association Hospice, C/O Development Office, 176 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ 07701.
