Obituary

James B. Taylor, 58, resident of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 surrounded by his family. Born in Princeton in 1965, he was a proud West Windsor native. Finding employment with the township as a young man, Jamie made a career servicing the residents of West Windsor, eventually becoming the Director of Public Works.

Jamie was known for his contagious laugh, bright smile, and crystal blue eyes. No one could ever be sad in his presence. His favorite times were spent with family and friends, sharing a good story and filling a room with laughter. He loved watching his daughters play softball, listening to country music and riding quads and was a determined supporter of the Cowboys.

Jamie compassionately contributed his services and time for 12 years to the Pink Ribbon Softball tournament, held annually, benefiting breast cancer awareness.

Son of the late Bruce Taylor, Jamie is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Michelle Taylor; his daughters, Meredith and Rachel Taylor; his brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Marie Taylor, his mother, Joan (Reed) Jones, and his large extended family, including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Also, stepmother; Judy, step siblings, and good friends.

His viewing will be held at The First Presbyterian Church of Dutch Neck, 154 South Mill Rd,. West Windsor, NJ on Saturday, October 7th from 10:00AM to 12:00PM with a funeral service beginning immediately afterwards. He will be laid to rest in the Dutch Neck Church cemetery following the service.

After the service there will be a gathering at the Dutch Neck Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James' name to:  Pink Ribbon Softball Tournament, PO Box 3189, Mercerville, NJ 08619 OR through their website: www.pinkribbonsoftball.org.

Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
