James J. Redding, 67, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, December 7th at St. Mary's Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born and raised in Newark, he resided in Cranbury, NJ for 34 years, before recently moving to Columbus. Mr. Redding retired from Northwest Airlines where he worked for 38 years at the Newark and Philadelphia Airports and was a member of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers Lodge #1776.
He is survived by his wife Linda of 44 years; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Gene McHugh of Monroe Twp., NJ and Lynn and Richard Nappa of Bordentown, NJ; five grandchildren, Samantha and Caitlin McHugh and Jake, Jared and Jeremy Nappa; a sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Jose Vieira of North Arlington, NJ and two nieces, Kristin and Tracey Vieira.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Thursday, December 11th at St. Mary Church, 45 Crosswicks St. Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call Wednesday 3-5pm and again 7-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown.
