James Edward O'Hagan, 54, of New Egypt passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at his home. Jokingly and affectionately known as "Angry Johnny', James was born in Lakewood and was a graduate of Allentown High School. He worked as an arborist for his family business, O'Hagan Tree service, and later for Aspen Tree service. A US Marine Corps veteran James recently joined the Masons.
James was a simple man who was devoted to his daughter. He valued his daddy-daughter time, taking her to art shows or simply just driving around spending time together. He loved being with his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
Son of the late Thomas O'Hagan Sr., Jim is survived by his daughter, Julianna O'Hagan of Philadelphia; his mother, Margaret O'Hagan (nee Powell) of New Egypt; his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Debbie O'Hagan, Jr.; his nieces who loving called him "Uncle Peanut", Lauryn, and Ashley and her husband Tim; his uncles, Jeff Powell, Jim Patty and Terry O'Hagan, as well as many other extended family.
Cremation will be private at the convenience of the family. A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler funeral home, Allentown.
