James R. Mullen, 74, of Cape May Court House, passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 at Cape Regional Hospital. Born in New Brunswick, Jim graduated from Edison High School. He resided in Cream Ridge for many years and worked at A & M Garden Center in Robbinsville. He loved history and studied it at Heidelberg College in Ohio.

Jim liked classical music and taught himself to play the piano. He had an amazing talent and, even at the age of five, was able to play any song by ear. Jim loved gardening and had a green thumb, a trait he shared with many in his family. He was a wonderful and kind person and was a loving son, brother, and uncle.

Son of the late Margaret and James E. Mullen, he was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Mullen. Jim is survived by his brother, William Mullen; his sister and brother-in-law, Maureen and Curt Hollerieth. Jim is also survived by his niece and nephew and grand nieces and nephews.

Services will be private in St. John's Cemetery, Allentown where Jim will be laid to rest with his parents and brother.
