James N.King, Jr., 79, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Hamilton. Born in Brooklyn, and a longtime resident of Lynbrook, NY, James attended St. Raymond School in East Rockaway and graduated from Chaminade High School in Mineola, NY. A US Army veteran, James worked for Bank of New York Mellon, retiring after 25 years of service. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the New York Mets and Giants.
Son of the late M. Arlene King, he is survived by his uncle Herbert J. Aguero and aunt Vita Rumbold, as well as his cousins, Margaret Longto, Robert Phillips and wife Chikee, Carolyn AhKao and husband Allen, Melissa Sherman, John H. Aguero and wife Denise, Kathleen Aguero and husband Richard Hoffman, Rosemary Aguero, William Rumbold, Nina Bress and husband Frank, and Linda Buiocchi and husband Tom; his close friend at CareOne of Hamilton, James Marolda, as well as many special nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, February 12, at St. John the Baptist Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Road, Allentown, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of the Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
