Obituary

James W. Hall, 89, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Masonic Village of Burlington, in Burlington Township, NJ. Born in Spangler, PA, he had lived in Cardiff, NJ prior to moving to Burlington. He was a WWII Navy Veteran with the 6th Marine Division and survivor of the Battle of Okinawa, Japan. James worked as an Air Traffic Control Simulator Instructor with the FAA in Absecon, NJ. He was a member and Past Master of the Keystone Lodge #153 F&AM and was a Past Grand Chaplin of the Grand Lodge of the State of New Jersey.
Predeceased by his parents, James and Helen Hall, his sisters, Joyce Weigand and Mary Jeanne Faunce and his beloved wife Florence, he is survived by his daughter, Gail Salewski and her husband Ken of Yardley, PA and his grandson, Eric Howard and his wife Deana .
Funeral Services will be 11 am Thursday, February 2 at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd, Burlington, NJ. Masonic Services will begin at 10:30 am. Friends may call from 9:30 am until time of services at the Chapel. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation, 902 Jacksonville Rd, Burlington, NJ 08016. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
