Baughman
February 12, 1942 – July 29, 2019
James R. Baughman, 77, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly. Born in Trenton, he had lived in Ewing and Robbinsville prior to moving to Columbus, NJ. James was a Navy Veteran and served on the USS Steinaker. He had worked for US Steel in Fairless, PA and for Avery Dennison in Cranbury, NJ. James enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer and bowler.
Predeceased by his father, Lester Baughman, he is survived by his mother, Ruth Baughman (Getz), his beloved wife of 6 years, Diane Baughman (Kashtaniuk), his son James R. Baughman Jr of Las Vegas, NV, his brother: Clarence "Butch" Baughman and his wife Gail of Ewing Township, his sisters: Clare Sparano and her husband Tony of Ewing, Judy Dey of Aurora, CO and Joyce Radice of Robbinsville. His sister-in-law: Joan Mattes, a niece: Lauren Mattes and nephew: Michael Mattes and many other nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A memorial service celebrating Jame's life will be held 11 am Wednesday, August 7 th , At the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. Friends and family may call from 10 until time of service. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James's name to the ALS Greater Philadelphia chapter, 321 Norristown Rd. Suite 260, Ambler P.A. 19002. Diane would like to thank the staff at Philadelphia VA ALS clinic for all the care, love and support they gave James and herself for almost two years .
