IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jake D.
Schreck
May 1, 2001 – March 31, 2023
Jake Daniel Schreck, 21, left us on March 31, 2023 after a terrible accident took his life much too soon. Born in Linden, NJ, Jake had been a resident of Allentown since 2005. Jake was a graduate of Allentown High School Class of 2019. He worked for the Painters Union Local #694 DC #21 and was a member of the Kaos Kings Motorcycle Club of New Jersey. Jake loved life and his favorite pastime was riding his bike with the wind in his hair and being free…he said there was no better feeling! He loved meeting new people and just talking to everyone and learning everything and anything he could, just by casual conversation.
Jake would brighten any room with his infectious smile and contagious laugh, had a heart of gold and would help anyone who needed it. He was a friend to all and never judged anyone. His motto was "Live to Love, Love to Live". He was a loving and special son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and dear friend to everyone who knew him. Jake was always the life of the party and could make any situation into a happy and fun time! He shared so many special times with his parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents and he will forever be remembered and celebrated by his family! I do know how much he will be missed by his great group of friends, who always had his back, as he had theirs. Most of all his brothers will miss him immensely, but they will definitely keep his legacy alive, they loved and always looked out for their baby brother.
Predeceased by his grandmother Margaret C. Materna, Jake is survived by his parents: Andrew and Kim Schreck of Allentown, NJ, his brothers: Andrew "Drew" Schreck (and Jordan Smith) of Newtown, PA and Matthew Schreck (and Jackie Varga) of Allentown, NJ. His grandparents: Thomas Materna of Linden, NJ and Charles and Barbara Schreck of Calabash, NC, all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, April 5 th from 4 to 8 pm and again on Thursday April 6 th from 4 to 8 pm. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home 4:15pm on Wednesday at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St, Allentown, NJ. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
We invite all of Jake's family & friends to come say Goodbye, because that is truly what Jake would want!
