"Hero" Jahmir Scott was born April 27, 1996. As a young boy he loved climbing, being a superhero and performing. His love of acting continued through his time in Allentown schools, where he performed in many different shows including Beauty and the Beast, Curtain, and Children of Eden.
He was also a performer at the Kelsey Theatre at MCCC where he performed in 13, Aida, The King and I, and Bugsy Malone.
As a senior at Allentown High School he found a new passion, cheerleading. He was a member of Allentown HS cheer, Syracuse University cheer, The Baltimore Ravens cheerleading team, and University of Kentucky cheer. He worked at various cheer training programs in both New Jersey and Kentucky.
Jahmir is survived by his parents, Aisha and Willie, his siblings Desiree, Porsha, Gabrielle, and Richard, his four adoring grandparents, Frederick, Cheryl, Nicola, and Kevin, his aunts/second mothers' Nikki and Kira, his aunts Jasmine and Nia, his cousins, who were also his siblings, Bryanna, Kemani, Destiny, Laylaa, and Aaliyah. Numerous great aunts, and uncles, and his great grandmother, Joan Johnston. Plus many other friends and family.
Jahmir was loved by so many and will be missed by us all.

A Memorial Service will be held 7 pm Friday evening at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St, Allentown, NJ. Friends may call from 5pm until time of service at the funeral home.
