Obituary

Jacqueline E. Kelly, 83, of Hamilton Square, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at her home, in the company of her children and granddaughters.  Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong Hamilton Square resident, a descendent of some of the area's earliest families.  Jacqueline, a graduate of Trenton State Teachers College, was an elementary school teacher for the Hamilton Township school district as well as a talented artist.  She enjoyed her retirement years caring for her family, friends and her dog, Jack.

Daughter of the late Robert M. and Rose S. Everett she was predeceased by her husband Major Richard H. Kelly and her sister, Barbara E. Klein.  Jacqueline is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Dianne Kelly of Cream Ridge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Robbi K. Alexander of Pennington and Carolyn and William Smith of Allentown; six granddaughters, Caitlyn A. and Laura Rose Kelly, Jacqueline Kelly and Jordan Everett Alexander and Allison L. and Andrea L. Smith, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday, September 24 th at Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08619. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SAVE; A Friend to Homeless Animals, 900 Herrontown Rd, Princeton, 08540, 609-921-6122.
