Obituary

Jacob C. Gross HAMILTON - Jacob C. Gross, 89, died Saturday at Virtua-Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. He was born in Hamilton Township and resided there all of his life. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he served in the South Pacific Theatre and had retired from the Bayer Aspirin Company in Trenton with more than 30 years of service. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church, VFW Post #3525 and the Washington Township Seniors. The father of the late Linda Riniker, he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nina (Stark) Gross; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Fred Gierman of Columbus; a brother, Richard Gross of California; eight grandchildren, Katrina, Keith, Hilary, Jennifer, Katie, Benjamin, Mark and Laura; five great-grandchildren, Victoria, Luke, Jack, Elysia and Rachel; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday from the New Testament Baptist Church, 381 Ward Ave., Hamilton. Interment will follow in the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors. Calling hour will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053. Arrangements are under the direction of the Peppler Funeral Home of Bordentown.
