Cream Ridge, N.J. - J. Sherman Cooper III died April 28, 2007 at home with his family and friends at his side. Sherm was born in Trenton and was a life long area resident. He was a life time salesman at Coopers Cycle Shop in Hamilton, NJ. Sherm enjoyed motorcycle racing and competed in many cycling events including flat track, enduros and hare scrambles.
Sherm is survived by his father, J. Sherman Cooper Jr. and his stepmother Barbara. He is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, his loving sons Sherman IV and Jason, his cherished grandchildren Madison and Sherman V. Two sisters and five brothers, Ruth Anna, Carol, Roger, Jimmy, Scott, Patrick, and Michael. He is predeceased by one brother and one sister, Barry and Patsy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 Main Street, Allentown, NJ. Call hours will be Tuesday between 6:00 and 9:00 pm. and Wednesday 9:00 am until the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Sherm's memory to The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research
