Irene Tyira, 92 of Delray Beach, FL, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017. Born in Trenton, she was a longtime resident of Bordentown Twp. She worked as an editor for McGraw Hill in New York for many years before retiring from the New Jersey State Police as the Secretary to the Public Information Officer. Irene enjoyed spending time in Delray Beach, FL and was a member of the German American Club in Yardville.

Predeceased by her husband, Louis Tyira; she is survived by her daughter, Terrie VanHuff of Delray Beach.

Funeral service will be held Friday October, 20th at 11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow in Colonial Memorial Park in Hamilton. Friends may call Friday from 10am until time of service.
