Irene L. Hendrickson, 88, of Crosswicks, passed away Thursday at her home. Born in Chesterfield, she resided in Crosswicks for over 70 years. Irene was a cafeteria manager for Crosswicks/Chesterfield schools for many years and was a member of the Crosswicks Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She loved her family, her home and enjoyed gardening.

Wife of the late James Hendrickson; she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Sally. She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph and Jane Hendrickson of Bordentown, Albert and Betty Hendrickson of Browns Mills and James Hendrickson and Faye Royce of Surprise, AZ; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judith and Richard Wright of Crosswicks and Linda and Daniel Brown of Chesterfield; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and John Weyand of Ewing, Betty and Charles Schweder of Whitehorse and Louise and George Delgado of Levittown; a sister-in-law, Janet Woodward of Fieldsboro; eleven grandchildren, Susan, Ellen, Amy, Lisa, Douglas, Curtis, Kevin, Samuel, Heather, Jamie and Joshua and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Monday 11am at Crosswicks Methodist Church, Ward and Church St., Crosswicks. Interment will follow in N. Crosswicks Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call Sunday 6-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown and again Monday at the church from 10am until the time of service.
