Howard E. Lincoln, Sr., age 64, of Tabernacle passed away peacefully Friday at home with his family by his side. Born in Allentown, he had spent the last 18 years in the Tabernacle area. A US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War, he was an automotive supervisor for the NJ Turnpike Authority.
Son of the late Raymond and Alberta Lincoln, he is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Margaret P. Lincoln (nee Bagley); three sons, Howard Jr. (Billy Jo) Lincoln of NY, Michael (Kim) Gellis of PA, and Brian (Fran) Gellis of Tabernacle; a daughter, Alice (Chuck) Waters of FL; Eight grandchildren, Bryce, Brandon, Braydon, Jordan, Jason, Annabel, Matthew, and Brianna; three sisters, Lois Goulding, Doris Poinsett, and Marion Felton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 am, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main Street, Allentown, NJ. Rev. Paul Hurff will officiate. Interment will follow in the Allentown Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday morning from 10 am until time of service.
