Hilda Helen Wells, age 90, of Brandenton, Fl, passed away Monday at her daughter's home. Born in Erie, PA; Mrs. Wells resided in Trenton for many years before moving to Brandenton, FL to live with her daughter five years ago. She was recently honored as a 50 year member of the United Methodist Church of Trenton. Mrs. Wells was an active member of the church; organizing and participating in church functions and fundraisers as well as serving as the church treasurer for 12 years. She was also a caregiver to a couple of ladies older than herself. She enjoyed spending time with the family, gardening, collecting stamps and swimming.

Daughter of the late Edward and May Haverstraw and wife of the late Earl Wells; she is survived by her children and their spouses, Dolores and Demytro Vorona; with whom she resided and William and Debra Wells; five grandchildren and their spouses, Peter and Diana Vorona, Connie Jacobs, Linda and Sean Stewart, Debra and Tom Dziubek and William, Jr. and Amy Wells; nine grandchildren, Tyler and Taylor Jacobs, Conner Vorona, Natalie and Jonathan Stewart, Matthew and Grace Dziubek and Sarah and Alexis Wells.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday 11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. The Rev. Compton Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Allentown Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 6-8pm and Saturday 10-11am at the funeral home.
