Henry Strasser, 76, passed away Monday, June 22, 2014 at home with his family by his side. Born in Newark, NJ, he had resided in Montclair, NJ and Mill Valley, CA, before moving to Chesterfield 17 years ago. He worked as a Park Ranger for many years which included Twenty Nine Palms in California, Wind Cave National Park in South Dakota, and the Statue of Liberty. Hank received his Masters from San Francisco State University, was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran. He was an avid magician and the Dean of Assembly #181 of Hightstown, and a member of Assembly #4 in Philadelphia. He enjoyed being a member of the Sunday Ride Club of Mill Valley and was a past Board of Education member of Northern Burlington Regional School District.
Predeceased by his parents, Dr. Hans and Mary Strasser and his brother, Hans Strasser II, he is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Aida MB Strasser and his beloved son Christopher A. Strasser, both of Chesterfield Township, his sister Jane Boan of Appleton, ME, a nephew, Hans Strasser III of Kansas and many close dear friends.
A Celebration of Henry's Life will take place on Sunday, June 28 from 3 to 6 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will be private.
