Henry T. Peper, 94, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at his daughter's home. Born in New York City, he was a resident of Bergenfield, NJ for 60 years. A US Army Air Corp Veteran serving during WWII, Henry was a teacher for the Bergen County Vocational and Technical School in Hackensack. He was an active member of the Clinton Avenue Reformed Church in Bergenfield. Henry also enjoyed bowling, golfing and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband and father and adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ethel Peper; his two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Michael Johnson of Lee's Summit, MO and Donna and Dennis Unger of Jackson; his grandchildren, Stacey Zimmerle and her husband Joseph, Brian Johnson and his wife Lauren, Dennis Unger, Kristen Vendetti and her husband Peter and Daniel Unger and his wife Danielle; his great grandchildren, Hannah and Carter Zimmerle, Peter and Gina Vendetti and Kara Unger as well as nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held 12pm on Wednesday, November 19th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Friends may call Wednesday from 10am until the time of service.
