Helen Waricka, 91, of Millstone Twp., passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Cranbury Center in Monroe Twp. Born in Jersey City, she grew up in Bayonne and resided in Scotch Plains for many years before moving to live with her daughter in Perrineville. Helen loved being with family and enjoyed going to her children's and later grandchildren's sporting event and activities. She enjoyed sports, animals and relaxing by the pool, but most of all Helen loved her family.

Daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Dubivsky, she was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Waricka. Helen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Valerie Waricka of Millstone Twp.; her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Roger Lowsky of Perrineville; her grandchildren, David Pollera, Nikki, Stephen and Matthew Waricka.

A funeral service will be held 11am Monday, February 27th at St. Thomas the Apostle Byzantine Catholic Church, Rahway. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 1410 St. Georges Ave. Rahway NJ 07065. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
