Helen J. Adams, 97, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a resident of the Columbus area most of her life. She had retired from the Columbus Post Office after 31 years and was the oldest member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Hainesport.

Predeceased by her parents Edward and Emily Adams and her brother, Walter E. Adams, she is survived by her brother and sister-in-law: Irvin and Marilyn Adams of Columbus, her nieces: Marybeth Oliver and her husband Gerald of Richmond, VA and Cynthia Tootell and her husband Edward D. of Columbus, her great nieces and nephews: Matthew and Julianne Tootell, Lauren and Ryan Oliver and along with other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 11 am, Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 910 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ. Interment will follow in Columbus Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 10 am until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Marlton, or St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
