Hazel K. Watlington, 91, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton. Born in Tallapoosa, GA, she was a resident of Allentown for many years. Hazel retired after 20 years of employment from the Princeton Junction Post Office and was a member of the Princeton Chapter #91 O.E.S. She was also very active with the Princeton Junction Senior Citizens were she served two consecutive years as president and attended Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church.

Daughter of the late Edwin and Bertha Heacock, she is predeceased by her husband T. Guy Watlington, her daughter, Juanita McLaughlin, her son-in-law James A. Panek, and her loving friend, John Patterson. She is survived by four children, Almeyda and her husband William Prickett of New Hampton, NY, Ruth Panek of Lawrenceville, Thomas and his wife Jean Watlington of Ft. Myers, FL and Richard and his wife Tina Watlington of Purlear, NC; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Monday, January 18th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main Street, Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Dutch Neck Cemetery. Friends may call from 1pm until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Hazel's name to the Allentown Redbird Band, RBPA, Attn: Lori Feibus 27 High St. Allentown, NJ 08501 or to Allentown First Aid Squad P.O.
