Harry J. Wright, Sr., 68 of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at his home.  Born in Allentown, he was a lifetime resident and local farmer.  Harry served for several years on the Board of Directors for the Tri-County Co-op and was an avid hunter.  His true loves were working on the farm and his family.  His passion was his grandchildren and was very active in their lives.

Son of the late Russell and Ella Wright, Harry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Wright; his son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Margaret Wright of Mercerville; his daughter and son-in-law, Lori and David Hicks of Cream Ridge; his beloved grandchildren, Sean, Natalie and Lauren Wright and Courtney Hicks; a brother, Robert Wright of Allentown;  three sisters, Doris Dingle of FL, Marie Rehl of Upper Freehold Twp. and Ruth Davison of FL; a brother-in-law, Kevin Traier of Milford; three sisters-in-law, Clare Wright of Allentown, Sharon Knapp of Cream Ridge and Janice Hutchinson of Robbinsville as well as several nieces and nephews.

A cremation service will be private at the convenience of the family.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Harry's name to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 333 E. Carson St., Suite 441, Pittsburg, PA 15219 or to the American Heart Association, 1 Union St., Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.  Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
