Harry W. Kaut, 82, passed away Friday, February 8, at Centra State Medical Center, in Freehold. Born in Lakewood, Ohio, he has been a life long Clarksburg resident since 1951. He was a WWII Navy veteran, and farmed his land for many years. He retired as Operating Engineer for the State of New Jersey, Department of Transportation. Harry was a Past Commander of the VFW Post #1553 of Clarksburg, a member of the American Legion Post # 353 of Trenton and a past Elk of the Year as well as a past Chairman of the Handicapped Children Committee of the Millstone Elks # 2613. He enjoyed playing in the stock market and loved to fish
Son of the late Harry L. Kaut and Emily E. Kaut (nee Damery), he is survived by his wife, Joyce M. Kaut (nee Rummel), three sons and two daughters-in-law; William and Barbara of Cream Ridge, Robert and Madeline of Clarksburg and Harry P. of Jackson. A brother and sister-in-law; Thomas C. and Bernice Kaut of Rutherfordton, NC, two grandchildren; Dusty Lynn of Jackson and William and his wife Melissa of North Hanover; two great grandchildren; Susan Jean and Ruby Lynn and several cousins.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday 11 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.
