October 4, 1932 – September 8, 2024
Harry E. Hopkins, 91 of Hamilton Square, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Bear Creek Assisted Living in West Windsor. Born in Prospertown, NJ, he was a long time Allentown area resident. Harry worked as a Boiler Engineer for Princeton University, retiring after 33 years of employment. He also worked part time as a maintenance worker for Allentown High School as well as many other odd jobs. Harry enjoyed dining out with his family.
Son of the late Clifford and Lelia Hopkins, he was predeceased by his sister Leona. Harry is survived by his two sons, Mark Hopkins and his wife, Barbara and Nathan Hopkins and his wife Carla; his grandchildren and their spouses, Nathan Hopkins and Brenden and Corey Hopkins and Luisa; his brother, Kenny Hopkins; sister, Pearl Papp as well as several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held Monday, September 16th from 12:30-1:30pm with a service beginning at 1:30 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
