Obituary

Harry W. Hart, 77, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, February 5, 2010, at Compassionate Care Hospice of Trenton. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a resident of Allentown, NJ for the last 46 years. He had worked in security for several companies including South Brunswick Security. Harry was once a member of Bible Baptist Church of Hamilton where he was an Elder, Deacon and Song Leader and also taught Sunday school. He was recently a member of Faith Baptist Church and was involved with Saint Lawrence Rehab Ministry. Harry loved weightlifting and was affectionately known as ""Big Daddy"" in the neighborhood because he would play sports with the local children.

Son of the late Harry and Marion Hart (nee Smith), he is survived by his wife of 55 ½ years, Elva ""Betty"" Hart (nee Strong); three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara and John Coleman of Hamilton Twp., Elizabeth Brasher of Clermont, FL and Rebecca and James LaBaw of Mercerville; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Valerie Hart of Aiken, SC; a sister and brother-in-law, Esther and Joseph Wakeley of State College, PA; five grandchildren, Jared Coleman and his wife Becky of Charlotte, NC, Jeremy Coleman and his wife Erika of Breinigsville, PA, Timothy Hart of Bayville, NJ and David and Cassandra LaBaw, both of Mercerville, NJ; three great grandchildren, Malachi, Palin and Justus as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be 11 am on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at the Faith Baptist Church, 2111 Kuser Rd. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Twp. Friends may call Saturday morning from 9 am until time of service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Baptist Church, 2111 Kuser Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08690
