Harold H. ""Brother"" Goff, age 82 of Cream Ridge, passed away Saturday February 16th at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton. Born at home in Crosswicks, Brother Goff was a lifetime area resident. After retiring from farming, he enjoyed working at Cream Ridge Golf Course. His enjoyment for racing led him to become one of the original founders of the New Egypt Speedway and was track champion in the 1950's. In his later years he continued to love spending time there. Brother Goff was also a past member of the New Egypt Lions Club for many years.
Son of the late Harry W. and Mabel Harker Goff and brother of the late George Goff, he was predecease by his son, Harold H. Goff, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Alma J Goff (nee Van Hise); two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna J. and William E. Miscoski of Cream Ridge and Diane L. and Arthur E. Avery of New Egypt; four grandchildren, Sara E. Crome and her husband Noah of Cream Ridge, Ryan W. Miscoski and his fiancé Kelly Brodbeck of Cream Ridge, Michael E. Avery of Florence, AZ and Jimmy L. Avery of New Egypt, two great granddaughters, Hannah N. and Lily A. Avery both of Florence AZ; a sister, Dorothy Search of New Egypt and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday 11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. The Rev. Horace Frantz will officiate. Interment will follow in Emleys Hill Cemetery, Cream Ridge. Friends may call 6-9pm Tuesday and again 10-11am Wednesday at the funeral home.
