Hans Steinbeis, of Cream Ridge, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014. Born in Sonthofen, Germany, Hans moved to the US in 1959, residing in Hamilton Square and Cream Ridge for 54 years. A US Army Veteran, he retired from the NJ Turnpike Authority after many years of employment. Hans was an active sports enthusiast who enjoyed bicycling, hockey and skiing. He was an avid traveler and had a great love of the outdoors.

Hans is survived by his longtime love, Cathy Augustine; the loving members of the Augustine family; his brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Rose Marie Haslach; two nieces, Patricia Haslach and Eileen (Gary) Bertsch and a great niece, Amanda Bertsch.

A Memorial Mass will be held 11:30 am on Saturday, June 21st with a visitation from 10:30 until the time of Mass, at St. Matthias Church in Bala Cynwyd, PA . Please contact Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown for more information.
