Gussie M. Tantum, 101 , of Burlington, NJ passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at the Masonic Home of New Jersey in Burlington. Born in Trenton, she had lived in Hamilton Township for many years until moving to Mt. Holly in 2002, and later to the Masonic Home in 2008. She was a member of the 1 ^st Presbyterian Church of Yardville and Bordentown Chapter No. 257, Order of the Eastern Star.

Wife of the late Clifford A. Tantum, she was predeceased by her son-in-law Ken Smith; Gussie is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law; Joan M. Smith of Mt. Holly, and Sally L. and Wayne Tatler of Marion NC; four grandchildren, Kathy Boyd and her husband Keith of Sanford, Fl, Ken Smith Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Bethleham, PA, Debbie Lona and her husband Tim of Jackson, NJ and Shelly Phillips and her husband Miami of Dallas, GA; eight great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; a sister, Loretta Hansen of Burlington; a nephew George Tantum of Melbourne, FL; and several nieces.

Funeral Services will be held 11am on Tuesday, December 18th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown. Interment will follow in Colonial Memorial Park. Friends and family may call from 10am until time of service on Tuesday morning.
