Glenn A. Locke, 82, passed away Tuesday at the Masonic Home of NJ, in Burlington. Born in Wildwood, NJ., He had lived in the East Windsor area, retired to Florida and returned to Burlington Township 2 years ago.He had operated the family business Locke's Drug Store, in Wildwood, was an executive with McGraw Hill Publishing in Hightstown and owned and operated ""Puppy Luv"", in East Windsor. Glenn was a WWII Navy Veteran, having spent time in Siberia and was a member of the Hereford Lodge # 177 F. & A.M.
Brother of the late Ralph and Shirley Locke, he is survived by his wife Arlettia Locke, a daughter, Linda Lee Locke and her husband John Sutton of Ocean Grove, two grandsons, Shawn Dennis and his wife Elizabeth of Verona and Timothy Dennis and his wife Katie of Point Pleasant, three great grandchildren, Colleen, Brian and Casey Dennis. Two step-daughters, Donna Borden and her husband Ron and Lynda Stiefel and her husband Fred both of Delaware, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren, a sister Doris Grady of Florida and a sister-in-law, Gertrude Locke of California, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service celebrating Glenn's life will be Thursday, 10:30 am at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ. Masonic Services will begin at 10 am. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
