Gladys M. Wright, 81, of Whiting passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at her home.  Born in Jersey City, she was raised in Freehold and lived in the Upper Freehold area for many years before moving to Whiting 10 years ago.  Gladys retired as a supervisor from Johnson & Johnson.

Daughter of the late William and Mae Cox, she is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth C. Wright and her beloved cat, Precious.  Gladys is survived by three sons, William Pope of Ft. Myers, FL, Edward Pope of Bonita Springs, FL and Jeffrey Pope and his wife Cathy of Naples, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and Larry Creech of Freehold; two step-sons, Jeffery Wright and Kenneth Wright, Jr., both of New Egypt; 10 grandchildren and a special sister-in-law Barbara Golden.

Funeral services will be held 11am, Friday, March 23 ^rd at the Peppler Funeral Home 114 So. Main St. Allentown.  Friends may call from 9am until the time of service.  Interment will follow in the East Windsor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, Ocean County Branch, 1228 Route 37W, Toms River, NJ 08755.  The family would like to thank Holy Redeemer Hospice for their wonderful and loving care.
