Gertrude E. Tweedale, 100, of Yardville, passed away in her sleep early Tuesday, Sept 29th at her home. Gertrude was born in Groveville to Frank and Alice Lippincott on December 22, 1908. She married Joseph Tweedale in July 1926 and with him, built a home just outside of Yardville where she has lived ever since. Gertrude was a life long member of the Groveville Methodist Church and served for many years as the church's organist and choir director. Her love and talent for music will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by a son, Martin who resides in Edmonton, Alberta; two grandchildren, Ian and Jennifer; four great grandchildren; two nephews; a niece and two cousins, Elma Turp and her daughter, Georgianna Bonsanto, who along with their husbands, David and Joe, have been very caring of Gertrude in her last years.

A memorial service will be held at a later date under the direction of the Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
