Obituary

Gertrude Pullen, 86, of Wrightstown, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at Samaritan Hospice, Mt. Holly with her loving family by her side. Born and raised in Allentown, she had resided in Groveville and Cream Ridge for many years before moving to Wrightstown. A former member of St. John the Baptist and Church of the Assumption, Gertrude was dedicated to raising and caring for her family. She enjoyed having Sunday dinners with her family. An avid Alan Jackson fan who she referred to as "Her Man", she enjoyed watching NASCAR especially Tony Stewart and loved rooting for the Philadelphia Phillies. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Daughter of the late Chester "Pete" and Anna (Boyle) Crammer, she was predeceased by her brothers, Chester "Chet", Bernard "Bernie" and Arthur "Art" Crammer. Gertrude is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Ann and Larry Pingitor of Wrightstown and Sharon M. Pullen of Freehold; son, Clendon "Chuck" Pullen of Wrightstown; grandchildren, Anthony and Laura Pingitor, Matthew and Kelly Pingitor, Madison and Victoria Pullen; great grandchildren, Mason and Makyna; sister and brother-in-law, Emily and Roland Pummer of Hightstown and several nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11 am on Saturday, January 27, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Allentown. Friends may call Friday from 5-9 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gertrude's name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
