Gertrud Braun, 80, of Wrightstown, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2018 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. Born in Furth, Germany, she moved to the US in 1969. Gertrud worked for many years as the supervisor of housekeeping for Mercer Medical Center. She was an avid card player and enjoyed to crochet. Gertrud loved life and was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Predeceased by her daughter, Liane Heisler; Gertrud is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William "Dutch" and Robin Braun; her son-in-law, Richard Heisler; her four grandchildren, Tabitha Heisler, Shane Heisler, Rachel Braun and Christian Braun; two great grandchildren; her sister, Helga Schmidt and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2pm on Sunday, January 13 ^th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Friends may call from 1pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
