Geraldine Walls Spady, 86, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, with her family by her side. Born in Bordentown, she was an area resident most of her life, living a short time in  Lakeland, FL. She had worked for McGraw-Hill of Hightstown, Crescent Sportswear and Ocean Spray both of Bordentown. She was a member of the Christ Episcopal Church of Bordentown, Consolidated Fire Association Ladies Auxilary and the Bordentown City Senior Citizens. Geraldine loved to read on her swing in the backyard while enjoying the sun, with her dog Lucky by her side. She also enjoyed taking trips to the casino and will be deeply missed by all.

Daughter of the late Clinton and Jane Evans and mother of the late Judy Collom, she is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Joseph Fresco and her beloved son and daughter-in-law, John and Nancy Walls with whom she lived, both of Bordentown, her brother, Harry Evans of Seattle, WA, seven grandchildren;: Jacki Kalargheros and her husband Manny, Joseph L. Fresco and his wife Pam, Jana Fresco, Nicole and Chelsey Walls and Richard and John Collom, four great grandchildren; George, Jayla, Connor and Gabe.

Mass will be celebrated 11 am Wednesday, November 2 at Christ Episcopal Church, 130 Prince St, Bordentown. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Tuesday evening 6 to 9 pm and Wednesday morning 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Geraldine's name to Consolidation Fire Association, 20 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ 08505.
