George O. Grover, 82, of Hamilton, was reunited with his bride on Saturday, August 25, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He worked for Circle F for over 30 years and Congoleum for 10 years before retiring. He was a proud US Army veteran who served in the NJ National Guard and a member of VFW Post 491 in Yardville. George loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and an excellent fisherman. George was able to fix anything and grow anything. He loved his koi pond and spending time with his family. He was always there for them and was a great mentor to his grandchildren.
Son of the late Arthur and Mildred (Cawley) Grover, George was predeceased by his wife, Barbara; sisters Delores Wolverton and Pearl Beatty and brothers, Leroy and Roger Grover. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Cristofaro and her husband, Gerard and Deborah Daugherty; his grandchildren, Justin and Jamie Daugherty, Dana Cristofaro and Jeremy Daugherty; brother, Charles Grover; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ella Blanchard, Carolyn Matlack, Evelyn Cook, JoAnn and Butch Beatty and Patricia and Charles Rosina as well as many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, August 30 th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call Thursday, August 29 th from 6pm to 8pm and again Friday from 10am until the time of service.
