George Arthur Dix, 94, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hamilton. Born in Washington Twp., he was a lifetime area resident. A graduate of Allentown High School, Mr. Dix worked as a milkman for Bordens Castanea Dairy in Trenton for 30 years and was a member of the Hamilton Square Baptist Church.

Husband of the late Pearl E. Van Hise Dix and father of the late Carl A. Dix; he is survived by his son, Leonard W. Dix of Hamilton; his daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis E. and Robert F. Gotwald of Mercerville; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Ann Dix of Hamilton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 10am Thursday at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. The Rev. Allen Frisch will officiate. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call Wednesday 6-9pm at the funeral home.
