George Carlton Danser, Sr., 55, died March 23, 2013, at his home in Nickerson, KS, along with his daughter Nikolle Marie Danser.  He was born March 9, 1958 in Trenton, NJ.  The son of Frederick Taylor Danser, Jr. and Irene (Bollengier) Danser; he was a groundskeeper for several apartment complexes and a golf course until he became disabled in 2010.  A resident of Nickerson for four years, coming from Louisville, KY, he was a member of the Nickerson United Methodist Church.  George was very involved in the church and in the city of Nickerson.

Survivors include: two sons, George C. Danser, Jr. and Jessica of Colorado and Shawon Danser and Madison of Monroe, NJ; two daughters, Melissa Irene Danser and Roger of Nickerson, KS; mother, Irene Lentini of Hutchinson, KS; two brothers, Keith Danser and wife Avona of Hutchinson, KS and Frederick Danser III and wife Bonnie of Basking Ridge, NJ; sister, SuzAnne Freitag and husband Bruce of Allentown, NJ; aunt, Gertrude May of Jackson, NJ; two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews; and his second ""Mom and Dad"", James and Linda Fleming of Nickerson, KS.  George was predeceased in death by his father.

Memorial service will be held June 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Methodist Church of Hightstown, Stockton St., Hightstown, NJ, Heidi Bak, officiating.  Burial service immediately following at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mercer Street, Hightstown, NJ.
