IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Geoffrey
Goyette
December 11, 1949 – October 14, 2024
Geoffrey R. Goyette, 75, of Edison, NJ, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, surrounded by his loving daughters. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Geoff had called Edison home for more than 20 years. Geoff worked as a sales executive for both Xerox and ADP, and upon retirement from the business sector, he took his love of animals and started a second career. He pursued this career with a passion, dedicating himself to education and advocating for animal welfare through his work with the Career Development Institute, GRG Consulting & Education, the Middlesex County Animal Response Team, and the Humane Society of Ocean City. More than just an educator, Geoffrey was a true motivator, known for his insight and wisdom, always ready to help solve any problem related to animal welfare.
Geoff, affectionately known by many as "Grandpa," had a deep love for sports, reading, cherished summers in Long Beach Island, and was known for his infectious smile and sweet tooth. Above all, Geoff's greatest joy was his family and friends, especially his four beloved grandchildren, who meant the world to him.
Geoff is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Nano Goyette and her husband Dan Bogacz and Lynne Handlin and her husband Justin Handlin; his grandchildren, Maggie and Grace Bogacz and Finn and Hudson Handlin; and his faithful companion, his dog Anna.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Ocean City at hsocnj.com
