Gennaro "Jerry" D'Amico, 91, of North Hanover, passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Hamilton. Born in Dumont, he was an area resident for over 45 years. Jerry, along with his wife, owned a farm in North Hanover where the grew vegetables. A member of Church of the Assumption in New Egypt, he was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, sunsets and watching his vegetables grow. He especially loved feeding the hummingbirds that were around his property and was a huge football fan.

Son of the late Alfonso and Anna D'Amico, he was predeceased by his brothers, Mario, Nicholas, Dominick and Jimmy D'Amico and his sister, Philomena Arcella. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Catherine McGhee D'Amico; his children, Donna D'Amico Carroll and her husband, Andrew of Jacobstown, Alfonso D'Amico of North Hanover and Heather D'Amico Pullen and her husband, David of New Egypt; his grandchildren, Katrina, Nichole, McKenzie and Spencer Carroll, all of North Hanover, Alfonso D'Amico of Jacksonville, Angela Hayes and her husband, Joe, of Hainesport and Cassandra Pullen of New Egypt; his great granddaughter, Jenny Hayes; his siblings, Alfonso D'Amico, Gloria DePinto, Frank D'Amico and Mary Ann Brock as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 6 ^th from 7-9pm and again Wednesday from 10-11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Funeral service will be held 11am on Wednesday at the funeral home followed by the interment in East Windsor Cemetery.
