Geneva B. Thompson, 89, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Virtua Memorial Hospital (Mt. Holly) surrounded by her family. Her family was very important to her and she will be sadly missed. Born in Crossville , TN , she had lived in Browns Mills and Tabernacle, after returning to NJ from retirement in Daytona Beach , Fl.

She was a waitress for over 30 years with Cedar Gardens in Hamilton Twp, beginning at the Old Cedar Gardens in Bordentown. She also worked on the Avenger Airplane during WWII at the Eastern Aircraft division of General Motors in Ewing.

One of twelve children, and wife of the late Robert L. Thompson, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael J. and Hancha Ross of Browns Mills, and Richard J. and Margaret Ross of Ewing; her brother Foster Burgess of FL, seven grandchildren, ""Shelly"" Stradling and her husband Steve, Mary Burner and her husband Trevor, Richard A. Ross and his wife Kelly, Eric Kolodziej and his wife Christina, Michael Ross Jr, Michael Mitchell, and Yvonne Radecki; six great grandchildren, Lauren, Ashley, Kelsey, Allison, Cameron and Hudson.

Family and friends my call from 4pm to 6pm Thursday, June 30 ^th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Memorial service will begin 5:45 pm .
