Gabriel S. Zettel, 50, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 14, 2026 at his home in Chesterfield Township, NJ. Born in San Diego, CA, he had lived in various places in Utah prior to moving to Chesterfield 10 years ago. He was the State Food Service Advisor for the NJ National Guard and enjoyed the outdoors. He was into fitness and was an avid runner including trail running, hiking, snowboarding and camping. He loved his family and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his parents, Roy and Janis Zettel, his beloved wife of 15 years, Jessica M. Tanner, his children: Bryan G. Zettel and Alyssa J. Trader(Gavin) all of Utah and Nash T, Vera R. and Gwynned I. Zettel all of Chesterfield. His six siblings as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
